Two professors from the University of Utah visited the Institute of Thermal Energy Engineering

Invited by Prof. Yuegui Zhou, Prof. James C. Sutherland and Prof. Terry Arthur Ring at Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Utah visited the Institute of Thermal Energy Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University on March 18 to 20. They gave the lectures on the topic of “Challenges and Opportunities in Simulation of Turbulent Reacting Flows” and “High Resolution Video Analysis of Oxy-coal Combustion”, respectively. The researchers from China and the United States discussed the project progress of the joint international cooperation. After the meeting, Prof. Sutherland and Prof. Ring visited Thermal Energy Engineering Laboratory and SJTU’s Minhang Campus.
